וּלְעֵ֥בֶר יֻלַּ֖ד שְׁנֵ֣י בָנִ֑ים שֵׁ֣ם הָאֶחָ֞ד פֶּ֗לֶג כִּ֤י בְיָמָיו֙ נִפְלְגָ֣ה הָאָ֔רֶץ וְשֵׁ֥ם אָחִ֖יו יָקְטָֽן׃
At kay Eber ay ipinanganak ang dalawang anak na lalaki: ang pangalan ng isa ay Peleg, sapagkat sa kanyang mga araw ay nahati ang lupa; at ang pangalan ng kanyang kapatid ay Joktan.
